So, I have a friend who came up with the concept for this character, and liked it so much that I decided to draw him for her.

He's the god of Wanderlust, or the need to travel or wander. I believe his markings are acutally bronze, and are blued because of tarnish from long travel.

I tried out a new method of coloring the lines, using channels and whatnot, which is super cool. All my lines stay perfect, but it let me delete all the white parts between. Very nice... I love learning new ways to make pretty art.

She had said she wanted his tail to be more of a plume, to sort of mimic the wing marking on his back. I went for making it a stylized sort of wing, and I think its pretty sucessfull... she certainly liked it, and I like it a lot better than what she had on the reference she gave me. xD; Yay Artistic Liberty!
